Adding To The Arsenal

Posted by Informal Tea Co. on

We've just added this vintage, solid-as-heck piece of silver to our tea brewing arsenal. Made in Sheffield, England by 'Nutbrown' who also made kitchen essentials such as pie funnels and grapefruit corers.

Using the classic baking soda and tinfoil method seemed to do the trick and it's cleaned it up pretty nice.

The real question was what tea to brew with it first? The most royal of all English Breakfasts would seem like the fitting choice for a piece of vintage English cutlery. But it's a hot summers day, so pure green was the winner on the day.

What do you think?
